Care Instructions
Increase the life of Soft Walker Shoes
-
Rinse them.
All shoes can be rinsed under water. Wet shoes can be wiped clean and stuffed with an absorbent towel to draw out moisture. After a few hours, remove the towel and let the shoe completely dry on its own.
-
Wash them.
All shoes can be washed with mild soap if needed. Do not use detergents as these are harsh and can remove tanning oils from the leather. However, if detergents are used, leather dressings will replace these oils, making the shoes more supple and increasing their water resistance.
-
Revive them.
Fleece can be fluffed up with a hairbrush.
Clean leathers and fleece can be made softer and fluffier by tumbling on LOW in the dryer. Do NOT place shoes with rubber soles in the dryer.
Leather may shrink when washed. If this happens, use the warmth and pressure of your hands to loosen the leather and it will comfortably remold to the wearer’s foot.
